ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Work Planner to join their team in Stroudsburg, PA. The role involves working outdoors in vegetation management, inspecting customer requests, and ensuring compliance with utility specifications.
About the Role
As a Work Planner, you will be responsible for inspecting and assessing customer requests for pruning or removals, securing clear rights-of-way for new line and pole construction, handling customer complaints, auditing tree contractor's work, assisting in storm situations, and communicating with clients and the public. You will also drive a company vehicle to various work locations and promote good public relations.
About You
Required:
- Ability to read maps and identify local tree species and growth rates.
- Knowledge of Utility Vegetation Management practices.
- Ability to hike rights-of-way and drive for extended periods.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite).
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Six months or more direct UVM experience.
- ISA Certified Arborist or ability to gain certification within 6 months.
- Prior experience with GIS software/technology.
- Being Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
