Summary
ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Work Planner to join their team in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves working independently in vegetation management, focusing on safety and quality service.
About the Role
As a Work Planner, you will inspect and assess customer requests for tree pruning or removals, secure rights-of-way for construction, handle customer complaints, audit contractor work, assist in emergency situations, and communicate with clients and the public. You will also plan work for contracted crews and identify hazards in the right-of-way.
About You
Required:
- Ability to read maps and identify local tree species and growth rates.
- Knowledge of Utility Vegetation Management practices.
- Ability to hike rights-of-way and drive for extended periods.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite).
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Six months or more direct UVM experience.
- ISA Certified Arborist or ability to gain certification within 6 months.
- Prior experience with GIS software/technology.
- Being Bi-Lingual (Spanish).
