The role involves providing critical Family Readiness Coordination Services to the Navy's Fleet and Family Support Programs (FFSPs) to maximize the well-being of active duty personnel and their families.
About the Role
As a Work and Family Life Consultant, you will provide one-on-one consultation, information and referral, classroom training, workshops, and seminars in support of the education and training component of Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) programs and services. Your responsibilities will include conducting training classes, providing specific information on available resources, and ensuring all services provided are documented in the Fleet and Family Support Management Information Systems (FFSMIS). You will also support disaster preparedness and response efforts and deliver training at-sea for Return and Reunion events.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in social science or related behavioral science field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience making presentations and facilitating training for large and small groups.
