About the Role
As a VMWare ESXI Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining virtualized environments, overseeing Microsoft Windows domain architecture, configuring virtual desktop environments, and conducting capacity planning and performance tuning. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to support IT infrastructure projects and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or Level II DoD 8570 Certification (Security+ or higher).
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in VMware infrastructure design, deployment, and administration.
- Demonstrated experience with Windows domain management in support of VMware environments.
- Strong communication skills with ability to document and present technical solutions.
Preferred:
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification, preferably in Cloud Foundation.
- Microsoft Server certification.
- Security+ or higher DoD 8570 certification.
- Proven experience creating and administering virtual desktop infrastructures (VDI).
- Hands-on experience with capacity planning, resource optimization, and infrastructure scalability.
- Familiarity with formal change management processes and ITIL best practices.
