Summary
Blueprint Creative Group is seeking a Visual Communications / Graphic Design Specialist to join their team in Frederick, MD. The role involves supporting the Department of Defense by creating and producing video and multimedia content, as well as managing physical and digital exhibits.
About the Role
As a Visual Communications and Graphic Design Specialist, you will design and produce high-quality print and digital products, capture and edit photographs, create visual content for campaigns, and ensure adherence to DoD branding standards. You will also plan and manage exhibits, coordinate with leadership, and oversee logistics for installations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years in exhibit design or visual environment planning.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, layout, and typographic principles.
Preferred:
- Experience working in military, government, or large institutional environments.
- Familiarity with DoD visual branding policies and public affairs messaging objectives.
- Knowledge of exhibit design principles, display fabrication processes, and ADA/Section 508 standards.
