About the Role
As a Veterinary Anesthesia Nurse, you will be responsible for anesthetizing small animals, reviewing their medical history, developing anesthetic protocols, placing IV catheters, performing physical exams, inducing, maintaining, and recovering animals from anesthesia, overseeing their recovery, and ensuring effective communication with clinicians. You will also be involved in maintaining the daily schedule flow of cases.
About You
Required:
- Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or board eligible.
- Experience in anesthesia for small animals.
Preferred:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
- Additional certifications in veterinary anesthesia.
