About the Role
As a Vertex AI Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to gather user requirements, implementing monitoring and performance tuning strategies for ML models, and developing secure data pipelines using GCP services. You will also manage IAM roles and integrate AI/ML solutions into security operations, ensuring compliance with cloud security principles and responsible AI practices.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or cloud automation roles, with at least 3+ years working in GCP environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Vertex AI, including training, tuning, deploying, and monitoring ML models.
- Proficiency in Python, including ML libraries like TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
- Deep familiarity with GCP IAM, roles/permissions structure, and access control policies.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and working in secure cloud environments.
Preferred:
- Experience integrating AI/ML models into security operations (e.g., anomaly detection, threat prediction).
- Familiarity with MLOps frameworks and tooling.
- Google Cloud Professional certifications (e.g., Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect).
- Understanding of data privacy, model explainability, and responsible AI practices.
