About the Role
As a Vascular Sonographer II, you will be responsible for conducting non-invasive vascular sonograms, assisting physicians with diagnostic procedures, and ensuring optimal patient care. You will work independently, applying your knowledge of vascular pathology and physiology, and will be expected to follow safety standards and maintain imaging equipment. This position also requires participation in departmental projects and may involve being on call.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credentials.
- Three years' experience as a Vascular Sonographer.
- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA).
- Vascular license/certification: RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS) or ARRT-VS - Radiologic Technologist - Vascular Sonography (ARRT) or RVS - Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI).
Preferred:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle challenging diagnostic procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with Hospital/Radiology Information Systems.
