CareNow Urgent Care is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join their team in South Austin, TX. The role involves providing urgent care services to patients of all ages across multiple clinics.
About the Role
As an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for seeing patients aged three months and up, working independently, performing first reads on x-rays, and executing treatment procedures for acute illnesses and injuries. You will float among clinics in Buda, San Marcos, Kyle, and Bastrop, ensuring high-quality care in an outpatient setting without hospital rounds or ER calls.
About You
Required:
- Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Texas state medical licensure and DEA.
- Ability to work independently and perform first reads on x-rays.
- Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for pediatric and adult care, including I&Ds and suturing.
Preferred:
- Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
