Summary
WSP in the U.S. is seeking a full-time UI/UX Designer to join their team, located near any WSP US office. The role involves collaborating with project managers and developers to create accessible and responsive user interface/user experience designs.
About the Role
As a UI/UX Designer, you will support design strategy and implementation for various online and mobile applications. Your responsibilities include creating high-quality UI/UX designs that meet industry standards, working with technical staff, and staying current with industry trends. You will also need to adhere to project schedules and budgets while meeting tight deadlines.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical arts, computer science or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of custom UI/UX design experience.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
- Proficiency in Figma, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Proficiency in Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro).
- Proficiency in responsive and mobile-first design.
- Proficiency in ADA Section 508 website requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with project teams and management.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient at self-management in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of CSS, Git, HTML5, JavaScript, React, Tailwind, TypeScript, UI Development, and Vue.
- Experience in leveraging AI tools for UI/UX.
