Lowry Hills Care & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Treatment/Wound Nurse (RN or LVN/LPN) to join their clinical team in Aurora, CO. The role involves assessing, treating, and monitoring wounds, pressure injuries, skin conditions, and ostomies.
About the Role
As a Treatment/Wound Nurse, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high standards of wound and skin care. Your responsibilities include performing skin assessments, administering treatments, documenting findings, educating staff and families, and monitoring the progress of wound healing. You will also evaluate the availability of supplies for wound care and assist in case reviews for pressure ulcers.
About You
Required:
Current LPN/RN license for the State of Colorado.
Current BLS/CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
Experience as a wound/treatment nurse.
One-year experience providing specialized treatments in a long-term care setting.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Preferred:
Wound Care Certification.
