KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their National Security Solutions team in Niceville, FL. The role involves developing software adapters for TENA and CHEETAS products, focusing on .NET, SQL, KAFKA, and web technologies.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will support the Test Resource Management Center’s (TRMC) Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA), Cloud Hybrid Edge to Enterprise Test Analysis Suite (CHEETAS), and Joint Mission Environment Testing Capability (JMETC) User Support Teams. Responsibilities include developing software adapters, documenting, managing configuration, testing, analysis, bug fixing, and mentoring junior team members.
About You
Required:
- U.S. Citizen
- Eligibility for Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- At least 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET development
- Proficiency in C++ and C#
- Proficiency with web application technologies such as React, JavaScript, and Apache Kafka
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Design & Development
- Experience with Agile Development methodologies and tools like Git, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins
Preferred:
- Experience working in government/defense labs
- Knowledge of Distributed Testing and Training
- Experience with TENA, CHEETAS, and JMETC
- Experience with Test and Training Range instrumentation
- Experience with major DoD Acquisition programs such as Joint Strike Fighter or Missile Defense Agency
- Experience with Source Control Pipelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows environments
