Summary
Ansible Government Solutions is seeking a Therapeutic Radiation Therapist (TRT) to provide onsite services at the Seattle VA Medical Center. The role involves treating patients and operating advanced radiation therapy equipment.
About the Role
As a Therapeutic Radiation Therapist, you will treat 15-25 patients daily, schedule appointments, operate Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, perform various imaging techniques, conduct treatment planning scans, deliver radiation doses, maintain patient records, and assist patients with transfers. You will also ensure compliance with safety protocols.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program in Therapeutic Radiologic Technology.
- Certified by ARRT in Radiation Therapy.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Military Training Network.
Preferred:
- 3 years of experience with radiation oncology equipment, preferably Varian TrueBeam.
- Experience in the delivery of therapeutic radiation and modalities such as 3D-CRT, IMRT, and IGRT.
- Familiarity with Varian Aria EMR and GE CT Simulator or equivalent.
