Summary
Jabil is seeking a Test Technician I for their Second Shift team in Seminole, FL. The role involves supporting the testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic components and systems.
About the Role
As a Test Technician I, you will set up, calibrate, and operate test equipment, perform functional and performance tests on PCBAs, interpret engineering schematics for diagnostics, document test results, assist in developing test fixtures, and collaborate with engineering to improve product designs.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience/certifications.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in electronics test system support or a similar technical role.
- Proficient in hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Proficient with test instruments and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong understanding of analog/digital circuits and embedded systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) or scripting (LabVIEW, Python, TestStand, etc.).
- Familiarity with IPC standards, ESD handling, and industry compliance testing (e.g., FCC, CE).
- Experience in an electronics manufacturing facility.
- Experience supporting/installing/calibrating FVT (functional verification test), ICT (In-Circuit Test), AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) systems, or any combination of experience.
