About the Role
As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for field and lab testing of pre-production and production vehicles, ensuring they meet durability and performance goals. You will conduct test procedures based on established protocols, replace components as needed, assist engineers with prototype testing, and document test results. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and organized workspace and operate within company health and safety guidelines.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years previous experience in a similar role within the powersports, automotive or similar industry preferred.
- Technical training in mechanical chassis systems, small engines & power development & transmission systems of motorcycles & recreational vehicles.
- Expert driver in on/off road motorcycle & off-road ATV & UTV vehicles.
- Microsoft Office and computer literacy for report writing, spreadsheets, email, etc. required.
Preferred:
- Experience in developing, troubleshooting, and improving key systems on the vehicle such as suspension, calibration, braking and clutching.
- Professional level motorcycle/OHV mechanic, with racing experience preferred.
- Basic repair and fabrication skills by machine tools and welding equipment.
- Detailed organizational skills in field/lab testing of vehicle performance & reliability.
