About the Role
As a Test Engineer II, you will own the testing lifecycle for thermal systems critical to space habitat missions. Your responsibilities include leading diverse deliverables, solving complex challenges through root cause analyses, and ensuring rigorous documentation of all phases of design and testing.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong foundation in fluid systems including fluid mechanics, relevant test standards, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects from concept through successful completion.
- Exceptional communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering highly reliable products.
- 2+ years of hands-on expertise in building, testing, and troubleshooting fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Experience with high pressure and LN2 test operations.
- Understanding of common Data Analysis techniques and sensor diagnostics.
