About the Role
As a Technology Analyst 2 (Cloud Solutions), you will collaborate with business managers and IT professionals to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include assessing business and application requirements for cloud integration, designing and maintaining cloud systems, monitoring performance, resolving technical issues, and managing security controls. You will also create documentation, recommend improvements, and train staff in cloud computing best practices.
About You
Required:
- Six (6) years of information technology experience, two (2) years of which must be within the appropriate specialty.
- Bachelor's degree in any field including or supplemented by fifteen (15) semester credit hours in computer science or a related field.
Preferred:
- Relevant cloud analyst certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud services including storage, networking, and databases.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex cloud reports.
- Proficiency in cloud computing technologies and platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, or Ruby.
