About the Role
As a Technician, CLS II, you will be responsible for analyzing laboratory specimens and reporting results according to established protocols. Your daily tasks will include performing accurate testing, maintaining laboratory equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. You will also perform phlebotomy and assist in training new laboratory employees while promoting effective teamwork within the department.
About You
Required:
- B.S. or B.A in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
- Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license from the State of California Department of Health Services.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in a licensed and accredited Acute Care Facility.
Preferred:
- Good communication skills and the ability to provide effective customer service.
- Experience in performing laboratory test procedures in multiple sections of the Clinical Laboratory.
