About the Role

As an Instructor - Technical Training, you will be responsible for technical support on the shop floor, field service, and classroom training. You will handle updates on equipment, new product introductions, and troubleshooting technical problems. You will serve as the technical go-to person for branches, skilled in hydraulics, engines, powertrain, electrical/electronics, and CAT support systems. You will also be responsible for technical communication with CAT and sharing information across branches, as well as conducting technical training both in the classroom and on-the-job training (OJT).

About You

Required:

Must be at least a level IV mechanic with above average performance.
Ability to coach and mentor mechanics.
Willingness to commute and spend time in all branches for training.
Ability to interact and communicate with CAT to solve equipment problems.
Team player willing to work with other trainers to improve technical expertise.
Willingness to be on-call at all hours to support equipment repair.
Availability to work 2nd or 3rd shift as necessary.
Ability to travel to other branches for complete coverage.
