About the Role
As a Technical Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of accounting policies across the organization, monitoring emerging accounting and financial reporting developments, and collaborating with various teams to assess the accounting impacts of new transactions. You will also prepare training materials and conduct policy training sessions for finance staff.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- CPA designation
- 5+ years of accounting policy experience, preferably in insurance/reinsurance industry
- Proficiency in IFRS and insurance statutory accounting
Preferred:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong critical thinking skills and problem solving skills
- Effective working in a collaborative team environment
