About the Role
As a Tech Central Service I, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of sterilization equipment, preparing instruments and supplies for surgical use, maintaining accurate documentation, and managing inventory for Central Service. You will also assist in the orientation of new personnel and integrate performance improvement and customer service excellence principles into your responsibilities.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Pass a nationally accredited central service exam within 18 months from hire date.
- Maintain one of the following: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) OR Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT).
Preferred:
- Prior CS Tech work experience.
Benefits
- $5,000 sign-on bonus for 0-1 year experience with a 2-year commitment.
- $7,000 sign-on bonus for 1-2 years' experience as a sterile processor with a certification and a 2-year commitment.
- $10,000 sign-on bonus for 2+ years' experience as a sterile processor with a certification and a 2-year commitment.
