Pacific Clinics is seeking a Teachers Infant Toddler to join their team in Glendale, CA. The role involves serving as a teacher and caregiver in a classroom of Early Head Start infants and toddlers, planning, implementing, and supervising all center-based activities.
About the Role
As a Teachers Infant Toddler, you will develop individual plans for each child, work with education staff and parents to create meaningful curriculum, prepare daily lesson plans, conduct home visits, and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment. You will also provide developmentally appropriate activities, conduct developmental screenings, and involve parents in educational activities.
About You
Required:
A.A/A.S. Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related degree.
Possess or be qualified for a California Child Development Teacher permit or higher.
Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification.
3-6 units of infant/toddler development coursework.
Demonstrated ability to work in Windows environment (including Word and Excel).
Valid California driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record.
Preferred:
B.A/BS Degree in a related field.
Experience working with infants and toddlers with developmental delays.
Ability to maintain accurate records reflecting the needs and progress of children.
