About the Role
As a Survey Instrument Person, you will operate and maintain various survey instruments, assist in executing different types of surveys, download and organize field data, maintain daily field notes, ensure equipment calibration, and promote safety protocols. You will also interpret design drawings and travel based on project locations.
About You
Required:
- Previous survey experience in engineering, construction, or industrial surveys.
- High school diploma or GED, with post-secondary coursework in geomatics as an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret survey drawings, maps, and construction drawings.
- Strong understanding of field survey methods and techniques.
- Physically fit and able to work in various outdoor conditions.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with various types of construction plans.
