About the Role
As a Surgical Tech (CST), you will be part of the Same Day Surgery Center Team, supporting growing services and working under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include integrating critical thinking skills, practicing aseptic techniques, and ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures.
About You
Required:
- Must be certified through CST or NCCT Surgical Technologist Programs at time of hire or obtain certification within specified time frames.
- Surgical tech experience required (new grads considered if highly motivated).
- Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic technique and sterilization methods.
- Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles.
Preferred:
- SPD experience preferred - Cross training to Sterile Processing.
- Currently validated CPR skills or BLS certification is preferred.
