About the Role
As a Surgery Scheduler, you will be responsible for scheduling office, surgery centers, and hospital-based medical procedures, pre-authorizing surgeries through insurance companies, maintaining a surgical log, and providing pre-surgical packets to patients. You will also coordinate with surgical facilities, ensure pre-operative labs are ordered, and maintain patient confidentiality while delivering exceptional customer service.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year scheduling experience in a surgery center and/or medical office setting.
Preferred:
- Knowledge in healthcare systems operations such as EMR.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
