Keystone Human Services is seeking a Supported Employment Coordinator to join their team in Sunbury, PA. The role involves exploring employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities and providing support throughout the job development process.
About the Role
As a Supported Employment Coordinator, you will engage with individuals to assist them in seeking job opportunities, preparing resumes and applications, and preparing for interviews. You will provide education to employers about the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities, conduct job and task analyses, and represent individuals in negotiations with employers. Additionally, you will provide on-the-job training, assist with transportation needs, and develop supports to maintain positive employment relationships.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of full-time work experience supporting adults in the human services field.
- Ability to obtain Associate of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) certification within three months of employment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent presentation, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to utilize internal software programs.
- Valid driver’s license and daily access to privately maintained and insured vehicle.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree.
