Textron is seeking a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Fort Worth, Texas. The role involves managing the supply base for Bell, ensuring material availability in support of all assembly and manufacturing facilities.
About the Role
As a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer, you will advise internal customers on supplier capabilities, review producibility feedback for new designs, identify and resolve supplier-related technical issues, and assess new supplier capabilities. You will work closely with both tactical and strategic efforts to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or relevant/related disciplines.
- 2 years in aerospace or related manufacturing industry experience.
Preferred:
- Excellent communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Technical understanding of non-metallic or metallic processes, tooling, or design.
- Proficient in using CAD for part viewing and MS Office productivity tools.
