About the Role
As a Supervisor, Distribution Center, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of hourly employees, planning work within the department, and ensuring quality and quantity of work. You will coordinate with other departments, maintain employee morale, conduct training, enforce company policies, and manage costs and equipment maintenance. Additionally, you will develop standard operating procedures and assist with vendor negotiations.
About You
Required:
- 4+ years' experience in a distribution environment.
- Experience in supervising hourly employees.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver effective training.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations or related field.
- Certified lift truck experience.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Experience in a unionized environment.
