About the Role
As a Student Imaging Extern, you will be responsible for ensuring patient safety prior to exams, performing imaging exams using proper techniques, completing documentation in accordance with hospital policies, and maintaining department supplies. You will also participate in training and assist in resolving safety and sanitation issues while providing quality patient care.
About You
Required:
- Completion of the first or second year of an accredited Imaging Services program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred:
- Successful completion of the first year of a two-year accredited Radiology Technologist program.
