Summary
Kimley-Horn is seeking a Structural Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Structures team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role involves managing projects, developing structural drawings, and mentoring Engineers-In-Training.
About the Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will assist in managing and leading projects, develop full sets of structural drawings and technical specifications, train and mentor Engineers-In-Training, perform structural design calculations, and support construction phase efforts. You will also participate in client meetings and contribute to identifying project opportunities.
About You
Required:
- 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
- Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup.
- Knowledge and experience in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT.

- Strong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlines.
- Detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills.
