About the Role
As a Staff RN in the PACU, you will be accountable to the OR Charge Nurse and the Director of Surgical Services. Your responsibilities include coordinating post-operative care with surgeons and anesthesiologists, guiding other personnel, and ensuring adherence to care standards. You will also communicate changes in patient conditions and participate in performance improvement activities.
About You
Required:
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- ACLS (AHA or ARC) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- PALS (AHA or ARC) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous Critical Care or PACU experience or minimum of one year on the job training.
Preferred:
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
