Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a Staff Nurse, Radiation Oncology (per diem) to join their team in Boston, MA. The role involves providing expert nursing care to a complex patient population in a multidisciplinary care team.
About the Role
As a Staff Nurse in Radiation Oncology, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients. Your duties will include administering medications, educating patients and families about treatment modalities, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. You will also participate in quality assurance projects and support research activities within the unit.
About You
Required:
Licensed as a registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Baccalaureate degree required; baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
Minimum of 1 year (or equivalent) of nursing experience.
Preferred:
Oncology nursing experience is strongly preferred.
Certification in Oncology Nursing preferred – OCN, AOCN, CPON.
