You will collaborate with engineers to design network integration solutions, plan and install security patches, monitor system uptime and latency, troubleshoot issues, and document network designs. The role requires full-time, on-site work with up to 10% travel.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 7 years of related engineering experience.
Ability to obtain Security+ with CE (or equivalent certification under DoD 8570.01-M).
Current expertise with network architecture, design, and equipment selection.
In-depth knowledge of routing and switching concepts and protocols including IPSEC, BGP, and OSPF.
Experience deploying, configuring, hardening, and diagnosing networks including switches, routers, and firewalls.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR).

Preferred:

Current Special Program Access.
Current Security+ce or equivalent certification under DoD 8570.01-M.
Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP).
