Summary
BioMarin is seeking a Sr. Director, US Value & Access Strategy, Enzyme Therapies to lead the development of value, access, and reimbursement strategies for their Enzyme Therapies business unit in San Rafael, CA.
About the Role
As the Sr. Director, US Value & Access Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and executing U.S. market access strategies, leading payer engagement strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and monitoring the policy and reimbursement landscape to ensure optimal patient access and commercial success.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in US market access, managed markets, payer strategy or related pharmaceutical functions.
- Deep understanding of U.S. healthcare system, reimbursement mechanisms, and payer landscape.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, influence, strategic and analytical skills.
Preferred:
- US launch experience in specialty therapeutics (Oncology, rare disease, immunology).
- Experience with Medicare Part B/D, Medicaid and commercial payers.
- Understanding of value-based contracting and innovative reimbursement models.
