About the Role
As a Sr Network Engineer (WAN), you will interface with Fiserv Business Units and customers to provide best-in-class network solutions. You will collaborate with various teams to enhance network deployments, focusing on automation and productivity improvements.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of related networking experience.
- Hands-on experience in software development specifically in Python, GIT, Ansible, and YAML.
- Hands-on experience in Layer 3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) route distribution and router filtering.
- Hands-on experience with various network solutions (SDWAN, MPLS, IPsec, S2S, DMVPN).
- Hands-on experience in Layer 2 protocols (HSRP, VRRP).
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience and appropriate certificates.
- Knowledge in the Linux/Unix environment.
- Substantial background in large scale network implementations and support.
- Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.
- Load balancers and Firewall knowledge a plus.
