About the Role
As a Splicer II Fiber, you will perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground. Your responsibilities include testing, activating, and troubleshooting network circuits post-installation, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards, and documenting work through daily production reports. You will also provide guidance to other splicers and maintain vehicles.
About You
Required:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- Valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
- At least two years of fiber splicing experience.
Preferred:
- Certified pole climber or capable of demonstrating proficiency as a pole climber.
- Knowledge of telecommunications network structure.
