Borinquen Medical Center is seeking a Speech Therapist to join their team in La Jolla, CA. The role involves delivering comprehensive patient care, including evaluations, treatment plans, family education, and documentation.

As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for communicating patient status and needs to patients, families, and care teams. You will initiate evaluations based on medical orders and guidelines, develop and implement treatment plans to achieve optimal functional outcomes, and educate staff and third-party payers on intervention benefits. Additionally, you will complete accurate documentation, screen individuals for therapeutic intervention benefits, ensure safety for self and patients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and utilize electronic medical records effectively.
