About the Role
As a Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient Rehab, you will perform patient evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, maintain records, and promote speech-language pathology services within the community. You will also participate in continuing education programs to maintain licensure and support professional growth.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology field of study.
- CCC-SLP certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- TX-SLP license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
- 2 years of professional experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a pediatric setting.
Preferred:
- Experience with management of pediatric dysphagia.
- Strong understanding of progression of oral feeding development from newborn to transitional feeders.
- Ability to evaluate cognitive-linguistic deficits.
- Ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with members of the medical team.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
