About the Role
As a Specialty Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing Specialty Pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with national accreditation standards, supervising pharmacy technicians, and maintaining professional interactions with patients and caregivers. You will also be involved in medication dispensing, record keeping, and ensuring the accuracy of medication orders.
About You
Required:
- Pharmacy degree (B.S. and/or Pharm.D.) from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Current Pharmacist license and BLS certification.
- Current working knowledge of drug treatment (oncology), interaction, and administration.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Completion of a post-graduate year 1 residency (PGY1), fellowship or 2 years of relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience in oncology.
- 3 years of General Practice in Specialty Pharmacy.
- Experience working within a retail, hospital or provider type setting communicating with healthcare professionals.
