About the Role
As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for monitoring student academic and functional achievement, developing and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and managing student behavior through individualized motivational systems. You will work in a therapeutic school environment designed to support students with social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s level degree in Special Education.
- PA certification in Special Education.
Preferred:
- Content area certifications in Math.
- Prior experience working with students with behavioral health challenges within a school setting.
