About the Role
As a Sonographer - OB/GYN, you will work independently to perform ultrasound exams, collaborate with OB/Gyn providers, and follow ACOG guidelines. Your responsibilities include greeting patients, educating them about procedures, capturing diagnostic images, maintaining medical records, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. You will also provide education to patients and students and stay updated on ultrasound developments.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree in radiological technology or a certification program in Ultrasound Technology.
- Current registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in OB/GYN and Abdomen.
- BLS certification.
Preferred:
- 5 years of hands-on OB/Gyn ultrasonography experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine office or with high-risk pregnant patients.
- ARDMS Registration in OB/GYN to be obtained within one year of hire date.
