About the Role
As a Solar Construction Intern, you will complete the Installation Basic Training (IBT) certification and assist with solar installations under the supervision of Training Officers and Solar Installation Supervisors. You will also have the opportunity to qualify for the Team Leader certification program, which involves providing guidance to volunteers and ensuring quality standards are met. The internship includes learning the solar installation process, attending workshops, and participating in community service activities.
About You
Required:
- Attend Standard Volunteer orientation
- Demonstrate ability to work both independently and in a team
- Capacity to create positive relationships with potential volunteers
- Comfortable with computers
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Highly reliable and detail oriented

- Strong communication skills
- Punctuality
- Interest in and enthusiasm for renewable energy
