Summary
Cubic Defence (UK & Europe) is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in San Diego, CA. The role involves performing complex software engineering assignments and providing technical guidance and leadership.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will participate in an agile scrum team, perform software engineering duties including problem analysis, solution determination, code design and development, integration, testing, modification, and documentation. You will also conduct system analysis, participate in design reviews, and assist in preparing design specifications.
About You
Required:
- Four-year college degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of five years of related experience or a master's degree with at least three years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft .NET, C#, web service development (WCF, REST, SOAP), web development (ASP.NET, HTML 5, XML, JavaScript), Visual Studio, version control (TFS/GIT/ClearCase), unit testing, SQL/PLSQL.
Preferred:
- Experience writing API specifications and designing/developing software systems.
- Knowledge of customer needs and competing products.
- Experience with high transactions web services and distributed/multi-threaded programming.
