Summary
ARKA Group L.P. is seeking a Software Engineer (TS/SCI) to join their team in Ypsilanti, MI. The role involves developing next-generation signal and image processing software to support U.S. defense and intelligence community partners.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for converting algorithm definitions into robust software applications, collaborating with experts to improve image product quality, and participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and technologies, while also troubleshooting technical issues.
About You
Required:
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, signals processing, electrical engineering, or related technology fields (5 years of professional experience in lieu of degree).
- Programming skills in C++, Python, Java, or Rust.
- Experience developing in a Linux environment.
- Version control experience in Git (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment and complete tasks independently.
- Must be willing to work on-site.
Preferred:
- Multiple programming languages.
- Academic or professional experience in radar or electro-optical fields.
- Work in formal software development methodologies (Agile).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Experience writing software implementing algorithms.
- Desire to learn new technologies.
