Summary
Onbe is seeking a Software Development Technical Lead to join their team in Plano, TX. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex Java applications while leading a software development team.
About the Role
As a Software Development Technical Lead, you will collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand product vision and requirements. You will lead the team in delivering software products, design and maintain Java applications, and implement modern cloud architectures. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior developers, participating in code reviews, and developing automated testing scripts.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
- Experience in Java 8 and above.
- Extensive experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational database systems.
- Strong understanding of J2EE concepts and RESTful architecture.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Playwright.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred:
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with front-end development technologies such as Angular or React.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
