St. Luke's Health System is seeking an SLSM Outreach Community Athletic Trainer in Nampa, ID. The role involves managing athlete care in community outreach settings, including rural high schools and youth sports, under limited supervision.

The Athletic Trainer Outreach will manage care for athletes in community settings, participate with the sports medicine team to plan and implement treatment and prevention programs, provide immediate emergency care, perform injury evaluation and assessment, educate the community on preventative measures, oversee the training room and assistant trainers, plan and schedule medical coverage at sporting events, determine therapeutic treatments and rehabilitation strategies, evaluate and manage head injuries and concussions with return to play guidelines, maintain treatment records and medical inventory, ensure Emergency Action Plans are in place, travel to local community and sports events, and perform other assigned duties.
