Delta Staffing is seeking a Simulation Engineer to join their Powertrain Systems Group in Rochester Hills, MI. The role involves being the central point for technical issues related to mechanical, pneumatic, and process engineering.
About the Role
As a Simulation Engineer, you will attend project kick-off meetings, develop technical plans, generate specifications for system functionality, lead safety risk assessments, and oversee 3D modeling and simulation. You will also monitor design progress and contribute to delivering world-class automation systems.
About You
Required:
Strong mechanical system knowledge and technical problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred:
Experience with ISO-9000, QS-9000, and TE Supplement quality systems.
Familiarity with Reliability & Maintainability techniques such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, MTTR, MTBF, Availability, OEE.
Proficiency in RoboGuide, Solidworks, AutoCad, and MS Office.
