About the Role
As a Shop Trailer Mechanic II, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks on light, medium, and heavy-duty trailers. This includes conducting DOT inspections, performing routine maintenance, and assisting senior technicians with more advanced repairs. You will work in a dedicated shop environment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards while maintaining a clean workspace.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
- ASE T8 (PMI) certification required or to be obtained within 18 months.
Preferred:
- OEM training and certifications.
- ASE T4 (Brakes) certification.
- ASE T5 (Suspension) certification.
- ASE T6 (Electrical and Electronic Systems) certification.
- ASE T7 (HVAC) certification.
