Truly Free Home is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Team Lead to join their team in Williamsburg, VA. The role involves overseeing the shipment and receipt of packages both internally and externally.
About the Role
As a Shipping and Receiving Team Lead, you will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing and packaging outgoing shipments, inspecting goods for quality and quantity, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with carriers, ensuring compliance with policies, and operating warehouse equipment safely.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven work experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Proficient in basic computer software.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of inventory management software.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Problem-solving skills to address shipping and receiving issues efficiently.
