LaundryLux is seeking a Service Technician to join their team in Passaic, NJ. The role involves installing, servicing, and repairing commercial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and ironers.
About the Role
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, installing, and repairing laundry equipment in accordance with established standards. Your daily tasks will include performing routine maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and maintaining safety and professionalism at all times. You will also promote service plans and communicate leads to the sales team, ensuring customer satisfaction through thorough explanations of equipment operations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the residential/commercial laundry industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred:
- Bilingual skills.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Excellent customer service skills.
